What is Open Studies?

An Open Studies student is one who is permitted to take regular university credit courses, but who is not admitted to a program leading to a degree or diploma. Visiting students also apply under this category. For information about being a visiting student please click here.

Open Studies students are limited to three courses per session to a maximum of ten courses. This is not a designated program and therefore ineligible for study permits.
